WOLPNET's five integrated programs are built on a single conviction: that lasting peace is impossible without gender equality. Together, they address the full spectrum of women's overall development — ending all forms of violence against women and girls, advancing women's rights, governance, and political participation, building economic resilience, sustaining community peace, and strengthening the institutions that protect and empower women across Liberia and West Africa.
GEWORG — Gender, Women's Rights and Governance
Ending Violence. Advancing Rights. Shifting Power.
GEWORG is WOLPNET's frontline program for gender justice. It works at every level of society — from rural communities to the executive, legislative, and judiciary branches of government — to end all forms of violence against women and girls, advance gender equality, and secure women's full participation in governance, leadership, and peace processes. We combine direct legal support with national-level policy advocacy, pushing for the laws, enforcement mechanisms, and cultural shifts that protect women and girls and dismantle the systems that enable gender-based violence and discrimination.

NOVAPE — Non-Violence and Peace Education
Building Peace. Preventing Violence. Healing Communities.
NOVAPE is rooted in WOLPNET's founding identity as a peacebuilding organization. This program delivers non-violence and peace education to communities, schools, and institutions across Liberia — equipping women, youth, and community leaders with the knowledge, skills, and tools to prevent conflict, resolve disputes peacefully, and sustain the hard-won peace that Liberian women helped build. NOVAPE bridges the gap between formal peace processes and everyday community life.

Resource Mobilization and Institutional Development
Strengthening WOLPNET. Sustaining the Mission.
A strong organization delivers stronger programs. This program focuses on building WOLPNET's institutional capacity — securing the financial resources, partnerships, and systems needed to sustain and scale our work. We pursue diversified funding from international foundations, bilateral donors, and corporate partners; develop staff and organizational capabilities; and strengthen the governance, compliance, and reporting infrastructure that gives funders confidence in their investment.

MEITCOD is the evidence and accountability backbone of WOLPNET. This program ensures that every initiative we deliver is tracked, measured, and reported with rigor — giving donors, partners, and communities transparent insight into what we achieve and how we learn. We harness information technology and digital communication to document our work, share knowledge across the organization, and amplify WOLPNET's voice and visibility on the global stage.

WESOR — Welfare and Social Responsibility
Caring for Women. Strengthening Families. Building Resilient Communities.
WESOR addresses the social and welfare dimensions of women's lives that other programs cannot fully reach. From supporting survivors of gender-based violence to providing humanitarian assistance, health education, and social protection for the most vulnerable women and girls, WESOR ensures that WOLPNET's work extends beyond advocacy and training to meet women where they are — in their homes, their communities, and their most difficult moments.

Our Approach
All five programs are designed to work together — a woman who knows her rights, has been educated in peace and non-violence, is economically supported, socially protected, and whose impact is rigorously measured, is truly empowered. We take a community-led, trauma-informed approach to all our work, centering the voices and leadership of Liberian women at every stage.
